"Hi Melanie
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for Angel-Roses birthday fishing.
The girls had a great time learning to fish. Their concentration and use of their gross motor skills was amazing to watch. It's therapy in a subliminal fun way. Nothing beats watching your child achieve goals no matter how nominal they may seem to others.
It was unfortunate the fish were not so hungry that day and hence only one fish was caught, but the joy and camaraderie shown by all the kids when this fish was reeled in was heartwarming.
It was evident from the day, everyone had such a great time and your work ethic is second to none. The care and patience you shared with my daughter and her friends was not unnoticed not just by ourselves but all the parents there.
We wish you all the best with your programs, and look forward to catching up with Angel-Rose for a spot of fishing.. With lots of fish to be caught course. "

"I could have been disappointed, 2nd time running a cancelled fishing excursion event due to bad weather, but Mel came to the rescue and offered an incursion. The ability for Mel and Jace to adapt to the conditions on the day by providing an incursion event at CYF, The Benevolent Society @ short notice was exceptional. I was totally fine with the program in house with the yabbies, as Mel’s explanation of how the day would unfold, yet on the morning, management raised a few safety concerns. So, without fail, Mel was able to give me tips regarding a risk assessment plan and the day went ahead without a hitch. They were able to engage the children for the entire session. Mel particularly was sensational.
Mel went beyond what was expected and should be commended for her efforts and be praised for her ability to face her health issues with determination and positivity, and show incredible resilience. I was inspired by Mel that day and think she is absolutely gorgeous!"
