Todd Young is one of Australia’s fishing champions. Still holding multiple World and Australian fishing records from his childhood some 35 plus years ago, yet to be beaten. 

He has consistently been rated as one of Australia’s most acclaimed anglers among his peers along with being one of the most sought-after Professional Fishing Instructors & Guides for over 20 years.
 
He has fished with and learned from the best from childhood. His life has been ingrained within every aspect of the industry and he boasts not only skills in every technique of fishing but rod building, custom binding, lure design and more.

He was one of the leading Australian Casting Champions in Plug, Threadline and Fly for decades.
 
Todd has been a published journalist for most of Australia’s leading fishing print media. He has featured in TV programs and promotional DVD’s with the likes of Mark Berg and more.
 
Todd has featured as a Guest Presenter countless times for Hi-Tide Radio over years and a contributor to  several published books authored by other Australian fishing journalists.
 
He has been instrumental in field testing and evaluation reports for sponsors spanning 25 years. He has decades of experience in Sales, Department and Store Manager roles within the Retail sector of the Fishing Industry.
 
Todd’s Masterclasses in topics such as Bass, Yellowbelly, Casting and more, are highly sought after and acclaimed. He has been recruited by many Fishing Clubs across NSW over the years of YGFA operation to do specialized clinics for members on a variety of topics.

Todd has been providing classroom Fishing Educational Programs through multiple Community Colleges across NSW for over 25 years.

Todd was the a regular writer for Fishing Monthly NSW magazine for many years providing fishing reports and featured articles on an array of topics.
